Services for Young People works to amplify the voice of young people, ensuring that all young people in Hertfordshire have opportunities to be heard, respected, and empowered. This is achieved through a range of structured opportunities, including:

  • District youth councils
Open to all young people aged 11-17, providing a platform for young people to share their views, influence decisions, and develop leadership skills.

  • Youth councils for young people with SEND
Supporting young people aged 11–25 with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in all 10 districts of Hertfordshire, ensuring their voices are heard and considered in the design and delivery of services for young people with SEND.

  • UK Youth Parliament
Providing Hertfordshire’s young people aged 11-18 with a national platform to influence social and political change.
